Last updated: July 14, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is part of your agreement with DoneAfter. Violations may result in suspension, termination, evidence preservation, and referral to law enforcement.

1. Purpose

DoneAfter provides a sensitive digital-legacy coordination platform. This AUP protects users, trusted contacts, recipients, and the integrity of verification and release processes. By using the Service you agree to this AUP and the Terms of Service.

  • Store stolen data or materials obtained through unauthorized access
  • Use the Service to traffic in hacking tools intended for unauthorized system access

3.3 Impersonation and verification abuse

  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your relationship to a user
  • Submit false, forged, altered, or misleading trigger evidence

3.6 Intellectual property and privacy

  • Infringe copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, or publicity/privacy rights
  • Upload others’ personal data without a lawful basis and appropriate rights

4. Sensitive content guidance

Even when lawful, do not upload raw crypto seed phrases or plaintext password dumps. Prefer instructions and locations. Follow the Security Policy. You are responsible for classifying and minimizing sensitive uploads.

5. Trusted contacts and portal users

If you act as a trusted contact, you must use portal access only for authorized purposes, protect access links, not redistribute released materials beyond permission, and not abuse verification or approval rights.

6. Gifts After and mail

Do not use gifts, letters, or outreach to harass, threaten, or send illegal materials. Recipient and address information must be accurate to the best of your knowledge.

7. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations, remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, revoke access grants, cancel pending releases or mailings, preserve logs and evidence, and report activity to authorities. We are not obligated to monitor all content but may act when we become aware of issues.

8. Reporting abuse

Report abuse, fraud, or security issues through the Contact form (choose Security / abuse report) or a Support ticket if you have an account. Include relevant URLs, account identifiers, and a description. For security vulnerabilities, follow responsible disclosure practices in the Security Policy.

9. Changes

We may update this AUP by posting a revised version. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
